I Guess I Learned Something Today (Part 1)

Yes, I totally look like this!

Wearing an undershirt on a hot day feels cooler than just wearing a shirt without an undershirt under it (the shirt). This doesn't work for me if I use a t-shirt under my shirt, t-shirts are too heavy. But a lightweight cotton ribbed sleeveless shirt (like that photo of me to the left) keeps me cooler. And as a bonus, my outer shirt -- which would have been against my perspiring skin -- stays funk-free longer.

"Weather and Song" is where I will practice my one true creative pleasure: writing. I've tried photography and painting, discovered I had nothing I wanted to say visually. I tried dancing, and here I discovered that I do not possess the dance gene; and I've tried music. I was a professional musician, but it's too much work for my life's here and now. So writing. I've made a living writing ad copy, speeches, essays, papers, instruction manuals, and for fun. It's still fun. Und so.
